My Moon Musings...

The Capricorn full moon came to guide our way into the second half of the year. Then along came the moon at home in her sign of Cancer to bring us home to ourselves. Now to help us to open ourselves up to our future and full potential is the Aquarius full moon.

This full moon is going to be intense, electric, transformative, and freeing. It’s going to illuminate the skies and our lives like a lightning bolt, and just like the air feels so much clearer after a big storm the same will be felt in ourselves and our lives after this full moon.

This full moon will illuminate where changes need to be made, where you are being called in a new direction, what you are done with that needs to fall away.

Perhaps you have been playing roles that you no longer want to play, agreeing to things you no longer want to agree to or been showing up as a version of you who you no longer wish to be.

This Aquarius full moon is one of two Aquarius full moons in a row. The second one will be on August 22nd and will be what’s known as a blue moon. I see these two full moons as being a bridge to take you from where you are now, to where you want to go, and you may find yourself on quite a journey of self-exploration, discovery and learning as we move across this Aquarian full moon bridge.

Do you know who you truly are? Do you know what you truly want? Are you able to feel, hear and know what is true for you? If the answer to this is no, that’s ok. We live in a society that does not necessarily encourage any of this. But this full moon and this time we are living in right now needs you to come back to the power of your true soul expression, the part of you who sent you here at this time.

So, it’s time to uncover some of the layers. It’s time to get beneath the expectations that have been placed on you by society, family and even your own stories of what is possible for you.

Do you remember who you were before society told you who to be? Who would you be if there were no societal norms or expectations that weighed heavy on your shoulders? What would you do if you weren’t afraid of the opinions of judgements of others?

How many times have you compromised who you are or what you want in order to fit, be accepted in or ‘keep the peace’? Whose life are you actually living?

Spend time over this full moon really exploring into your own depths of who you are/who you want to be and how you want to live and show up in the world. Use this full moon to start to know and understand who you are, at a deep soul level and embrace that.

Allow this moon to reveal to you more of who you truly are, more of your soul, more of your truth, more of your authentic self and show you where you are going.
